01/09/2008: Fresh news for the start of the season. Last tuesday, Manchester Volleyball had its first training session for the new season 2008/2009 under newly appointed coach Craig. The team has suffered many losses from last year: Riccardo, Daniel, Nik, Piero, Rich G. have all left, Neil is only there for a couple of months and Martin picked up a knee injury. We welcome back Ruari with a rested back (hopefully it will hold!) and a new job as club secretary, and so far he's doing great. The club is obviously looking for new talents and has already a couple of new arrivals with Leo (outside hitter) and Armando (Libero). Let's hope the boys get off to a good start this year with the first match at home (Didsbury) on the 13th of September at 12:30 against Leeds.
